There will be times in our lives when we will find ourselves in situations where we need help. Sometimes we can see these situations coming and at other times they catch us totally by surprise. But whenever the time comes there is wisdom in asking for help.
My wife and I recently went to see the Martin Lawrence comedy show. Performing with him on this show were comedians Chico Bean and Ms. Pat. It’s been a few years since we have attended a live comedy show. I love comedy and really enjoy supporting live comedy. The show overall was good, there weren’t a lot of the “side-splitting” laughing moments, but the show did provide a few chuckles.
Today I went to see the movie “Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin”. It was a thought-provoking film. When we look at what was taking place in Germany leading up to World War II and with the rise of Adolf Hitler, we will notice many parallels to the United States today.
As we journey through life, all will have experiences that are not always pleasant. Just turn on your television and watch the news to see this truth play out before your eyes.
