Testimony of Scars

I wear these scars like open doors,

Not hidden wounds behind locked floors.

I share my failures, speak my wrongs,

To help the weak become the strong.

Once I stumbled, pride held tight,

Ashamed to drag my sins to light.

But grace found me in darkest night,

And turned my shame to someone’s fight.

My story isn’t just my own,

It’s seeds of hope that I have sown.

If my mistakes can light your way,

Then pain redeemed has found its stay.

I tell of tempests I have braved,

Of selfish paths I thought I’d paved.

Yet every fall and tear-stained plea

Points to the One who rescued me.

So listen close – my flaws are true,

I bleed this truth to strengthen you.

May you find mercy where I fell,

And run to Jesus – Emmanuel.

For broken roads and bruised mistakes

Are candles lit for others’ sakes.

What once was shame now boldly speaks,

Our God is strong when we are weak.
