Different on Purpose

We’re not copies on a factory line,

God made us different, by design.

Skin tones, stories, songs we sing,

all part of His beautiful, living mosaic.

Some of us speak loud and bold,

some are quiet, hearts of gold.

Dreamers, builders, poets too,

each one needed, each one true.

Don’t hide your shade, your voice, your vibe,

Heaven loves our clash of tribes.

Every difference, flaw, and quirk,

God’s fingerprints, His holy work.

So let’s drop fear and break the fences,

stand together, no pretenses.

One big family, none the same,

all of us shining Jesus’ name.
