When shadows fall and skies turn gray,
And hope feels like it slips away,
When every step is rough and steep,
And nights are long with little sleep.
Hold on, dear heart, though winds may roar,
You’ve faced the storm and stood before.
The rain may pour, the thunder call,
But still, you rise – you will not fall.
For deep within, a fire glows,
A strength unseen, yet still it grows.
The trials pass, the pain will wane,
And sunshine follows after rain.
So take a breath, press on, be strong,
This road is tough, but not for long.
One day you’ll stand with lifted eyes,
And see how far you’ve climbed to rise.
