Through Disappointment’s Veil

When shadows fall and hopes collapse,

When dreams are dashed like broken glass,

The heart grows heavy, eyes may weep,

Yet faith remind, the Lord will keep.

Disappointment knocks with ruthless hand,

A storm that we can’t always understand.

But through the tempest, whispers near:

“Be still, My child, for I am here.”

Lift up your eyes; the cross still stands,

A beacon bright in weary lands.

For Christ, once crushed, rose up anew,

A promise sure for me, for you.

Though earthly plans may fade and fail,

God’s purpose blooms behind the veil.

His ways are higher, wise, and true.

Each sorrow builds a work in you.

So trust the Potter with His clay;

He shapes each crack in His own way.

For what seems loss is but the start

Of molding Christ within your heart.

Pray in the waiting, sing through the pain,

For seasons of drought bring harvests of gain.

And when disappointment shrouds your way,

Cling to His love – He’ll not delay.

In every heartache, His grace will abound;

In every loss, His joy can be found.

So walk with hope, through trials endure,

For in His hands, all wounds find cure.
