From Everlasting to Everlasting

Before the stars adorned the sky,

Before the oceans kissed the shore,

You were, O Lord, the Great I Am,

Eternal, sovereign, evermore.

No shadow dims Your boundless light,

No age can weary or confine;

You dwell beyond the reach of time,

Yet in our hearts, you choose to shine.

The mountains rise, then crumble low,

The heavens stretch, then fade away.

But You remain, unchanging One,

The same through night and brightest day.

You formed us from the dust of earth,

Yet breathed in us eternal breath.

A spark of heaven in our souls,

A life that triumphs over death.

Through Christ, the door to life is wide,

A path to dwell with You above.

In endless days, we’ll sing Your praise,

Surrounded by Your boundless love.

No eye has seen, no mind conceived

The joys prepared by Your own hand.

Yet by Your Word, our hope is sure –

Eternal life in promised land.

So now we wait with eager hearts,

Anchored in faith, upheld by grace.

Until that day we see Your face,

And dwell with You in Your embrace.
