The Keeper Within

Stand firm, dear soul, when tempests rise,

And shadows dance with whispered lies.

For character, a fortress tall,

Must never bend, must never fall.

The world may tempt with fleeting gain,

With golden lures or praise in vain.

Yet truth will shine, a steadfast light,

To guide your heart in darkest night.

Guard your words, let kindness lead,

Let honor root in thought and deed.

For riches fade and strength will wane,

But virtue’s glow will long remain.

So stand as keeper, brave and true,

Against the winds that challenge you.

For in the end, when trials cease,

A guarded heart will rest in peace.
